Here is my diptych of Janelle for my Gender series.

There was something that Janelle told me after this session that called my attention. She pointed to the foundation of this series: “You know Juan? For me it was more difficult to pose as myself than as a fictional character.”

I know this sounds simple, but it is deep. And in deep and simple projects is where I feel more comfortable working. And also around people. Did I said that before? I don’t think so. With them I can discover my way in many ways.
